2024 Camaro Lineup Revealed: Limited Availability and Enhanced Features

The Camaro’s Last Ride
Chevrolet is unveiling a special edition of the 2024 Camaro, called the Camaro Collector’s Edition, as they gear up for the final model year of the sixth-generation Camaro. This exclusive variant aims to enhance the already iconic muscle car with a range of distinctive features. The Collector’s Edition boasts a sleek black paint job, unique badging, eye-catching wheels, and additional enhancements.
Enthusiasts can enjoy the Collector’s Edition in both coupe and convertible body styles, and it is available across three trim levels: 1LT, LT, and 1SS. For those seeking even more power and performance, the high-performance, supercharged ZL1 model will have its own exclusive Collector’s Edition. However, production of this limited edition will be restricted to just 350 units, adding to its exclusivity and desirability.
Exclusive Offers and Prices
Chevrolet offers a premium Collector’s Edition package for the 2024 Camaro, at an additional cost. The package adds a touch of luxury and style to the vehicle, and its price varies depending on the trim level. For the 1LT trim, the package is priced at $4,995; for the LT1 trim it is $5,495; and for the 1SS trim, it is $5,995.
The Collector’s Edition package includes Panther Black metallic paint, which gives the Camaro a sleek and distinctive look. It is complemented by black stripes that add a sporty flair to the car’s appearance. The package also features 20-inch black wheels, further enhancing its visual appeal.
Drawing inspiration from the 1LE performance package, the Collector’s Edition incorporates a front splitter that not only adds a stylish touch but also improves the car’s aerodynamics. For coupe models, the package includes the rear spoiler from the ZL1 model, adding a touch of aggressiveness to the car’s rear design.
Chevrolet pays homage to the Camaro’s original code name, Panther, by integrating Panther graphics into the Camaro badges on the doors and steering wheel. This subtle detail adds a unique touch to the Collector’s Edition.
In addition to these visual enhancements, the package includes special floor mats that are exclusive to the Collector’s Edition. To further emphasize the exclusivity, Chevrolet provides a welcome kit that features two Camaro posters, adding a collectible element to the ownership experience.
Chevrolet presents an enhanced Collector’s Edition package exclusively for the ZL1 model, available at a higher price point. This premium package offers a range of exclusive enhancements that elevate the car’s performance and aesthetics. One notable feature is the Panther Matte Black paint, which gives the vehicle a distinct and commanding presence on the road.
To emphasize the exclusivity of each ZL1 Collector’s Edition car, a serialized badge is proudly displayed, indicating its unique production number within the limited run of only 350 units. This personalized touch adds a sense of pride and rarity to the ownership experience.
In addition to the striking exterior and individualized badging, the purchase of a ZL1 model with the Collector’s Edition package includes a special Shinola watch. This meticulously designed timepiece is crafted to complement the style and essence of the car, creating a seamless and premium ownership experience.
With these exceptional features, the ZL1 Collector’s Edition package offers discerning buyers an opportunity to own a truly exclusive and high-performance vehicle that embodies both power and luxury.
To obtain the Collector’s Edition package on the 1LT and LT1 trims, it is necessary also to add the RS package. This combined package configuration has an impact on the overall pricing, which is outlined as follows:
- For coupe models, the 1LT Collector’s Edition with the RS package has an all-in price of $39,440 (plus destination fee).
- The LT1 Collector’s Edition, when combined with the RS package, is priced at $47,385 (plus destination fee) for coupe models.
- For coupe models, the 1SS Collector’s Edition with the RS package has a price of $49,890 (plus destination fee).
- The ZL1 Collector’s Edition, which requires the RS package, commands an all-in price of $89,990 (plus destination fee).
Powertrain Options
Chevrolet has made the decision to discontinue the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four base engine for the Camaro in the upcoming 2024 model year. As a result, the available engine options for the Camaro will now be the 335-hp 3.6-liter V-6, the 455-hp 6.2-liter V-8, and the impressive 650-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 exclusively found in the ZL1 variant.
This change in the engine lineup has necessitated adjustments in the base prices of the Camaro models. The LT coupe will have a starting price of $32,495, (plus destination fee) while the LT convertible will be priced at $38,495 (plus destination fee) as its base price. These adjustments reflect the revised configurations and engine offerings for the respective Camaro models.
Starting from June 15, interested buyers will have the opportunity to place their orders for the 2024 Camaro. However, it is important to note that production of the 2024 Camaro will be concluded in January 2024. This limited production time frame adds a sense of exclusivity and limited availability to the final model year of the Camaro. It is advised to act promptly to secure a 2024 Camaro as the production window is limited.
