GM & Netflix Debut New Ad Featuring The Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss Trim

Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss

The all-new 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is arriving very soon, with the 3WT and 4WT trim levels coming sometime in spring 2023, and the RST trim will arrive in fall 2023. There has been little information for other Silverado EV forms, but that has recently changed since a Netflix Super Bowl ad debuted from GM. The Super Bowl ad showcases the all-new Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss, and consumers know it’s that specific vehicle because the pickup truck has a large logo.

General Motors has teamed up with Netflix to present GM EVs in a few Netflix-based shows and movies and, of course, Super Bowl ads. Some of the vehicles that will be presented are the Chevy Bolt EUV, GMC Hummer EV, and the Cadillac Lyriq for some upcoming shows. There will also be a new commercial that Netflix and GM will air starring Will Ferrell during the Super Bowl LVII on February 12th, 2023.

“We want to make EVs famous on streaming, small and silver screens to build an EV culture through storytelling that incorporates the experiences of driving and owning an EV. Netflix is a great partner because of the company’s compelling storytelling, commitment to sustainability, and track record of sparking conversations that shape cultural trends.” -Deborah Wahl, GM Global Chief Marketing Officer.

Embracing The Future Of EVs Through TV

Chevy plans to showcase a new marketing campaign involving NFL football, and the idea of it is drawing a crowd. Football is one of the most watched sports on TV, so it makes sense that General Motors has run ads during the games. There will be many more affordable electric vehicles coming from Chevy, and people can’t wait. Currently, there aren’t a lot of EV commercials, but that is subject to change very soon because EVs are the future.

Automakers are working hard to make more electric vehicles to produce the best ones. Still, putting the same energy into showcasing and advertising these cars will also be crucial. There seemed to be no profit on either end for automakers and consumers, but that has drastically changed with the release of Chevy’s new ad, “EVs for Everyone,” first shown on Chevrolet’s YouTube channel. The ad is about people excited about driving an EV and the upcoming new cars, such as the Equinox EV, the Silverado EV pickup truck, and the Blazer EV. The ad sure is musical, and anyone who watches will enjoy the full minute of what it means to be a Chevy EV owner.

Chevrolet Silverado EV VS. GMC Sierra EV

The Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra EV are two of the most popular new potential electric trucks. These two name-brand trucks excite customers to see what the transition will look like when the trucks enter the EV world. It’s no secret that the Sierra and Silverado look similar, but things will change when both trucks enter electrification.

The Sierra and Silverado have a max range of 400 miles because they share the same Ultium battery platform. They both also support DC fast charging up to 350kW rate; this helps add 100 miles in only 10 minutes. Chevy revised its specs to match the specs of the Sierra, so both cars get a max of 754 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque. The trucks can hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds using a power mode called WOW, Wide Open Watts, and GMC called Max Power Mode. For both trucks, the most electrical output is 10.2 kilowatts.

Don’t Let This New EV Truck Slip By

A popular Super Bowl ad was from Netflix and GM, which showcased the all-new Chevy Silverado EV Trail Boss truck. Consumers are excited about the 2024 Silverado EV and even more so for the new Trail Boss trim. In the meantime, come out down to NYE Automotive Group today to check out any other Chevy vehicles.
