Will America Get Lucky Enough To Be Home To The 2023 Chevrolet Montana?
There is a lot of buzz around the new Chevrolet Montana possibly coming to America in 2024. As exciting as it may sound, this new Chevy pickup truck will only be sold in Brazil as of now. Right now, there are no dates of when/if the Montana will be sold in North America. Given the popularity of small pickup trucks, it may not be surprising that General Motors may bring the Montana to the U.S. It’s a possibility this can happen, but it will take some time. G.M. would have to build a new factory or fix one to meet U.S. standards. If this happens, it will take a few years. Nevertheless, the Chevy Montana is a cool new small pickup truck that, even if it doesn’t come to America, is still a great vehicle with some cool features.
The design of this truck will be modern, with a muscular hood and aggressive lines running along the sides. This truck will have a large engine that will be a three-cylinder 1.2-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine pumping out 133 ps (131 hp) and 210 Nm (154.8 pound-feet) manual automatic gearboxes. The engine also has 130 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque. There are also two-tone rearview mirrors and roof rails. The starting price for this vehicle is roughly around $22,725. An analog instrument panel and a display screen will be around 8-inches. To get a better idea of the center screen, it’s a similar look to the 2022 Chevy Silverado.
Pickup trucks may not have been the most popular vehicle to get, but it’s now having a comeback, and they are much more in demand. This is why General Motors is fighting to bring the production of the Montana to the U.S. Unfortunately, there isn’t an answer yet of if or when the 2023 Chevrolet Montana will hit the U.S. stores from General Motors.
The Wait Will Have To Continue
It has been a bit difficult to get the truck to America, but one can definitely dream. Time will tell if we get lucky enough to have this well-equipped pickup truck in our car dealerships. With just a few facts about the Chevy Montana, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the vehicle sells out immediately once it hits the U.S.
