Production of the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will start soon. The all-electric mid-size SUV made headlines with its unique style and performance. Although the crossover SUV recently debuted, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV is certain to arrive with new updates. As of late, Chevy has been busy improving its EV lineup with models like the Chevy Bolt EV and Silverado EV. Given the high priority for EVs, the 2025 Blazer EV will likely offer increased performance and capability. While details are still forthcoming, we’ll take a look at the Chevy Blazer EV and see what consumers can expect.

2025 Chevy Blazer EV Sees Production Date

The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV is scheduled to begin production in June 2024. The crossover SUV will likely arrive with new features and updates however they may be minimal. The Blazer EV recently debuted showcasing an innovative new style as well as strong performance. The electric SUV rides on the new Ultium platform and is offered in 3 trims: LT, RS, and SS. Each trim builds upon the last adding increased capability and versatility. While the LT is the base trim, it still proves to be a stylish SUV offering 279 miles of battery range. The next trim up is the RS which is for those wanting longer range as it offers 324 miles of range. Finally, there’s the SS trim which combines range with performance. Offering 294 miles of battery range, this trim has a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4 seconds.

Inside the 2025 Blazer EV, owners will find an interior cabin just as dazzling as the exterior. The cabin is spacious and comfortable with its sporty design. A two-toned color scheme adds character to the cabin and a 17.7-inch touchscreen brings the design together. The touchscreen is oriented toward the driver so they have access to driver-assist features like Chevy Super Cruise. There’s also an 11-inch display that serves as the digital instrument gauge cluster. For storage, the mid-size SUV sees 60 cubic feet of space with the seats folded down.

For performance, the Blazer EV sees up to 557 horsepower with the SS trim. This highly capable trim features two electric motors and utilizes all-wheel drive. It offers the highest performance with a 4-second 0 to 60 mph time. It’s also responsive and engaging thanks to its regenerative braking system. The next level down is the RS trim which features a single electric motor. It delivers 340 horsepower but still offers good acceleration. Next is the LT trim which is available with front or all-wheel drive. It sees up to 288 horsepower with all-wheel drive. The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV currently starts at an MSRP of $60,215 (plus destination fee). We’re unsure what the MSRP will look like for the 2025 Blazer, but the electric SUV may see a small price hike. For now, we’ll be staying tuned for more information.
