Boasting 450 miles of battery range, the Silverado EV allows owners to fully charge their trucks in just one hour and 15 minutes. They can also add 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes using a DC fast charger.

What sets the Silverado EV apart is its consistent charging speed. Utilizing two 400-volt battery packs, the truck doubles the voltage during charging by connecting them in series. This ensures a steady charge of over 340 kilowatts throughout the process. It also addresses a common concern with EVs and demonstrates the Silverado’s capability to deliver reliable performance. To top it off, this capability is available with both the top-tier RST First Edition trim and the more accessible 3WT trim.

Overall, the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV proves to be a top contender in the electric truck market, offering impressive charging capabilities alongside its other features. Features like Wide Open Watts mode add further capability and for those opting for the RST First Edition, they’ll see a 0 to 60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds.
