The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is getting ready to enter production. The all-electric SUV is not likely to see any new updates however the base 1LT trim will finally be available for consumers. This is promising news as Chevrolet recently reduced pricing for the base Equinox EV. This reduced pricing along with a newly revised U.S Clean Vehicle Tax Credit make the 2025 Equinox EV one of the most affordable EVs currently available. The electric SUV will start at an MSRP of $34,995 (plus destination fee). Consumers can then apply the tax credit worth $7,500 making the 2025 Equinox EV a promising vehicle. Although EVs have faced some resistance, Chevy has continued to improve its EV lineup with options like the Equinox EV and the upcoming Bolt EV. The automaker’s Silverado EV has also made headlines facing off against competitors like the Cybertruck and F-150 Lightning. 2025 Chevy Equinox EV Enters Production

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is gearing up for production. The all-electric SUV will enter production on August 26th, 2024. One of Chevrolet’s most economical options, the 1LT trim offers the full capability and versatility of the Equinox EV. With a starting MSRP of $34,995 (plus destination fee), the Equinox EV stands out as one of the most affordable electric vehicles. Consumers can also benefit from the newly revised US Clean Vehicle Tax Credit which offers a $7,500 rebate. 

The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is available in two configurations: all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. Both powertrain options utilize a single electric motor. Equipped with all-wheel drive, the Equinox EV delivers robust performance at 290 horsepower and 346 lb-ft torque. With front-wheel drive, the SUV delivers 210 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of torque. As for range, the Equinox EV offers an impressive range of up to 319 miles on a full battery charge. Charging is efficient, especially with a DC fast charger that can add 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

Inside the 2025 Equinox EV, owners will enjoy a spacious interior featuring a 17.7-inch freeform display screen that serves the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system. With the rear seats folded down, the SUV provides up to 57 cubic feet of storage space. Advanced safety features like Chevy Super Cruise, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision alerts ensure driver safety.
